King of My Castle

Wamdue Project released King of My Castle in 1997, with vocals by Gaelle Adisson and production by Chris Brann. The Roy Malone remix turned the track into its best-known single version for the 1999 AM:PM release. King of My Castle became Wamdue Project's major international hit and reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in November 1999. Its success carried Chris Brann's Wamdue Project alias from underground house releases into a broader commercial club audience. King of My Castle remains Wamdue Project's signature record and one of the defining late-1990s crossover house singles. Later remixes, compilations, and continued club recognition have kept the song central to Chris Brann's catalogue.
