Every Kinda People (Joey Negro Multicultural Multitrack Mix)

Dave Lee, working as Joey Negro, reconstructed Robert Palmer's 1978 recording from newly transferred original multitrack tapes. The extended mix was released on Remixed with Love Vol. 2 in 2016. The mix brought Palmer's recording into contemporary DJ sets through an extended arrangement emphasizing its bassline and strings. It formed part of a fully licensed project created with access to the original recordings. DJ Paulette selected the mix for her 2017 Guest Selector feature in The Skinny, praising its bassline, strings and dancefloor appeal.
