Tumble and Fall

Tumble and Fall

Feeder · 2004
Recording

Recorded during the sessions for Feeder's fifth album, Pushing the Senses, after Grant Nicholas first tested the composition as an acoustic performance. Nicholas wrote the song and produced it with Gil Norton. Issued as a bonus track on the 2005 Tumble and Fall single, the acoustic version exposed the song's melodic structure before the fuller band arrangement. The parent single reached number five on the UK Singles Chart. The recording remains a companion version of one of Feeder's highest-charting singles. It documents the stripped-back arrangement from which the finished album recording developed.
