The duo's debut single attracted early international attention, with i-D premiering it and praising its intricate production and fleeting vocals. Its lyrics explore emotional detachment and uncertainty about happiness. The track became part of the debut repertoire that introduced Smerz internationally. XL Recordings reissued Okey in 2017 after signing the duo.
