I'm Yours

A reggae cover of Jason Mraz’s song, recorded and issued under Ghost’s name on Tad’s Record releases in the early 2010s. It appears on the Ghost EP with “Breathless” and also on Reggae Cover Jammz, Vol.1. The track adapted a major contemporary pop hit into a reggae setting, giving Ghost a crossover cover that fit Tad’s Record’s covers-focused catalog. Its release helped keep the song in circulation within reggae and dancehall compilation markets. The recording remained a recurring catalog item on later Tad’s Record releases, which kept Ghost’s version available to reggae listeners. It stands as a straightforward example of how pop songs were repackaged for the reggae cover market.
