Dopamine

"Dopamine" was first written by Robyn and longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund in 2015, then revisited when Robyn returned to the studio in 2020 and completed new verses with Åhlund. Robyn and Åhlund produced the recording, with Åhlund programming, Niklas Flyckt mixing and Chris Gehringer mastering. Released in November 2025 as Robyn's first solo single in seven years, "Dopamine" marked her return to dance-focused pop and introduced the material that became Sexistential. The track received strong critical acclaim and reached number nine on Sweden's singles chart. "Dopamine" became Robyn's first Swedish top-ten single since "Indestructible" in 2010 and a central track in her 2025–26 return. Official remixes by Jamie xx and Marlon Hoffstadt further extended its club presence.
