Rhythm Is a Mystery
K‐Klass · 1991K-Klass recorded the single at Studio House in Stockport with lead vocal by Bobbi Depasois, after forming the track from their Manchester club-production circle and working with songwriter Mark Stagg. The song first appeared on Creed Records before the later Deconstruction release that broke it nationally. It was K-Klass’s debut single and their first major hit, reaching No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart after the re-release. Contemporary reviews treated it as a strong piano-house crossover record that brought club credibility into the pop charts. The track has remained one of the defining UK piano-house singles of the period and was ranked by Mixmag among the 100 greatest dance singles of all time. Its continued status as a club anthem has kept it in DJ circulation and retrospective dance-music histories.
