Super Sharp Shooter

“Super Sharp Shooter” was released in 1995 by DJ Zinc on Ganja Records and later became the lead title of the 1996 “Super Sharp Shooter E.P.” associated with DJ Hype presents The Ganja Kru. The track was written and produced by Benjamin Pettit under his DJ Zinc alias. The record became one of DJ Zinc’s breakthrough releases and a major mid-1990s club anthem. Its hip-hop vocal cut-ups, gunshot effects and heavy breakbeat programming made it a defining Ganja Kru-era track. “Super Sharp Shooter” remains DJ Zinc’s signature early production and one of the most widely recognised tracks from the Ganja Records catalogue. Later reissues, remixes and sample documentation kept it active across dance-music and collector culture.
