House Every Weekend

David Zowie developed the track in his studio from an acapella found on a Nervous Records vinyl rip on his PC. He road-tested it at a house party and in clubs before wider radio support followed. The single became a breakthrough UK club record and reached number one on the Official Singles Chart, briefly becoming the first Friday chart-topper in the modern chart era. It also topped the UK Dance Singles Chart and arrived on streams before release-wide sales built. It remains David Zowie’s best-known release and his signature hit, remembered for its unusual chart history and for helping define the mid-2010s UK house crossover moment. The track also lingered on the Official Singles Chart for 22 weeks.
