Where U At

Derrick Carter released Where U At? as a 2002 single on Classic. The record was written, produced, remixed, and engineered by Derrick L. Carter, with additional remix and engineering work by Bang and trumpet by Jason Torres. The single appeared during Carter's Classic Recordings period and was taken from the forthcoming album Squaredancing In A Roundhouse. It documented Carter's early-2000s Chicago club sound for a UK label with strong transatlantic house connections. Where U At? remains part of Derrick Carter's Classic catalogue and later digital reissues. It also circulated through Phil Weeks and Derrick Carter's later Robsoul version, extending the title into 2010s club catalogues.
