Thoda Resham Lagta Hai

Recorded for the 1981 soundtrack of Jyoti, with music by Bappi Lahiri and lyrics by Anand Bakshi; Lata Mangeshkar sang the track for the film album. The song was one of the best-known numbers from Jyoti and a notable example of Bappi Lahiri’s film songwriting for the period. It circulated as a standout Lata Mangeshkar-Bappi Lahiri collaboration from the film’s soundtrack. The track later gained wide international recognition after being sampled in Truth Hurts’ 2002 hit Addictive, which led to a copyright dispute and renewed attention to the original. It also inspired the Hindi remake/rework Kaliyon Ka Chaman.
