Another Chance

Roger Sanchez produced Another Chance for his debut album First Contact, building the track around a sample from Toto's I Won't Hold You Back. The single was issued by Defected with remixes by Miguel Migs, Tom De Neef, Afterlife, and Mr. G. Released in 2001 on Defected, the single became Sanchez's biggest crossover hit and reached number one on the UK Official Singles Chart. It also reached the top 10 in several European markets and became one of the defining vocal club records of summer 2001. The track remains Roger Sanchez's signature record and one of the best-known early-2000s sample-based house singles. Its Toto sample, Philippe Andre video, and later remixes by Oliver Heldens kept it visible across club and pop retrospectives.
