Show Me Love

The song was written and produced by Allen George and Fred McFarlane, first released in 1990 on Champion Records in the UK, and later remixed by StoneBridge for its 1992–1993 breakthrough run. The album version was recorded across New York and other studios including Home Boy Recording Studio and Right Track Recording Studios. It became Robin S.’s biggest hit and one of the defining house crossover records of the early 1990s, reaching the top tier of both pop and dance charts in the US and the UK. Its success helped house music break into the mainstream. The track remains a signature 1990s dance anthem, widely cited as one of the genre’s most important crossover records and a song that still shapes contemporary dance-pop production. It has been repeatedly sampled, remixed, and cited in greatest-dance-song lists.
