If U Got It

Mark Knight remixed Chris Malinchak's original 2012 French Express single, adding a bold bassline, swelling pads, and his signature shuffling percussion to create a more club-driven version. The remix was released alongside a Joe Hertz remix as part of the 2014 Relentless Records reissue campaign. The remix brought Toolroom Records boss Mark Knight's heavyweight production to one of 2013's breakout deep house tracks, helping elevate Malinchak's profile in European club circuits as the follow-up to his UK number two hit "So Good to Me." The parent single peaked at number 23 on the UK Official Singles Chart. The remix remains a staple example of the early 2010s deep house crossover moment, when underground producers and established house names collaborated to bridge the gap between soulful deep house and mainstream club culture.
