For the Very First Time

For The Very First Time was produced and written by Johan Cederberg as HNNY and released on Local Talk in Sweden. The 12-inch also included Apricots and Trummor, with the title track opening the EP. The track was an early breakthrough for HNNY after his Studio Barnhus-associated releases. Contemporary retailer and music press notes described it as a warmly received Stockholm club track that helped put Local Talk's early catalogue in wider circulation. For The Very First Time remains one of HNNY's defining early singles and a key Local Talk release from the label's first years. Its 2012 video and later digital availability kept the track visible beyond the original 12-inch pressing.
