Disappearer (Martin Brodin Remix) [feat. Jake Shears]

Disappearer was created by Avec, the collaboration of Doorly and Shadow Child, with Jake Shears providing vocals. The Martin Brodin Remix was released on Southern Fried Records as part of the 2013 remix package. The single introduced Avec as a Doorly and Shadow Child partnership and paired their club production with a high-profile vocal from Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears. Martin Brodin's version was noted at release for reshaping the song into a smoother disco-leaning club mix. The remix remains part of the documented Southern Fried Records package for Disappearer. It also captures a short-lived collaboration between two UK club producers and a prominent 2000s pop vocalist.
