Do It Your Way

John Ciafone wrote, produced, mixed, programmed drums, and played keyboards on the track for Mood II Swing Productions, Inc. George Morel was credited as executive producer on the original 12-inch release. Released in 1996 on Groove On, the single put Mood II Swing's darker, dub-oriented New York club sound into wider circulation. It reached the UK Official Dance Singles Chart in May 1996. The track became one of Mood II Swing's enduring club productions and was later included in retrospectives of the duo's 1990s work. Its clipped swing, bassline, and dub pressure remain reference points for later deep house and UK garage-influenced producers.
