Give Your Body Up To The Music

Billy Nichols recorded Give Your Body Up to the Music for West End Records in 1979. The record was written by Nichols, produced by Arthur Russell and Steve D'Acquisto, and remixed for club release by Larry Levan. The single became Nichols's best-known solo dance record and reached Billboard's disco chart in 1979. Its West End release connected Nichols's songwriting career to the New York club network around Larry Levan and Paradise Garage. The track remained in circulation through West End retrospectives and later remixes by Masters at Work and Danny Tenaglia. It stands as Nichols's signature solo club record alongside his better-known songwriting work for other artists.
