Rock Your Body

Justin Timberlake · 2003
Recording

It was recorded during the Justified era at Master Sound Recording Studios and Windmark Recording in Virginia Beach, with Andrew Coleman engineering and The Neptunes producing. Released as a single from Justified, it became one of Justin Timberlake’s biggest early solo hits and reached the top five on the Billboard Hot 100. In the UK, it peaked at number 2 and was a major follow-up to his first solo singles. The track remains one of Timberlake’s signature solo songs and is widely remembered for the 2004 Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime performance with Janet Jackson. It has stayed in circulation through later live tours and ongoing pop-culture references.
