Mark Broom & Drax - Section 2 (Alan Fitzpatrick Edit) [feat. Drax]

Mark Broom feat. Drax released Section 2 Alan Fitzpatrick Edit on AFU Limited in 2014. The record was built by Mark Broom from Thomas P. Heckmann's 1993 Drax Ltd. I track Section 2 and edited by Alan Fitzpatrick. The single revived a 1993 Drax recording that AFU Limited presented as techno's first ever 7-inch. Its 2014 release connected Heckmann's early Drax catalogue with Broom's production work and Fitzpatrick's contemporary peak-time club profile. Section 2 Alan Fitzpatrick Edit remains a documented remake of the original Drax Ltd. I record. Its coloured one-sided vinyl editions and later digital circulation preserved the track as a bridge between 1990s German techno and 2010s big-room club use.
