I Don't Care

Dexter released I Don't Care as the first Klakson 12-inch in the Netherlands in 2000. The track was produced by Remy Verheijen, who co-founded Klakson with Steffi around the same period. The single launched the Klakson catalogue and established Dexter as a key Dutch club producer. Later label and artist biographies identify I Don't Care as one of the records that defined his early electro-funk sound. I Don't Care remains one of Dexter's core catalogue tracks and returned in remastered form on his Dektreks label. Its reissue preserved the record as a reference point for the Dutch electro scene that grew around Klakson and Clone distribution.
