Nothing Like Bomb Music From the West

The track was released by Jermajesty on the Plug Research compilation The Sound of L.A. Vol. 1. The compilation placed the track alongside Los Angeles underground artists including Cut Chemist, Daedelus, Sa-Ra Creative Partners, Georgia Anne Muldrow and Dntel. Released in 2006, it formed part of Plug Research documentation of the Los Angeles beat and electronic music scene. The track gained its main circulation through The Sound of L.A. Vol. 1 rather than through a standalone charting single. It remains a minor but documented entry in the Plug Research catalogue and in the wider Los Angeles underground compilation network of the mid 2000s. The recording is chiefly remembered through its placement on The Sound of L.A. Vol. 1.
