Red Mist

“Red Mist (VIP)” was released in 2009 on Hospital Records’ “Sick Music” compilation after the original “Red Mist” appeared on Danny Byrd’s “Supersized” album. The track was written and produced by Danny Byrd, with the VIP version reshaping the album cut for club play. The track became one of the main anthems from Hospital Records’ “Sick Music” campaign. It reached number 13 on the UK Official Independent Singles Chart and number 1 on the UK Dance Chart in 2009. “Red Mist (VIP)” remains one of Danny Byrd’s signature late-2000s tracks. Its inclusion in “DJ Hero” and continued Hospital Records catalogue availability kept it visible beyond its original compilation release.
