Brut Force

“Brut Force” was released in 1996 on Roni Size’s “Brut Force / Secrets” 12-inch for Full Cycle Records. The record was issued as FCY009 during the Bristol label’s mid-1990s run, with production centred on Roni Size. The single became a documented Full Cycle club release and reached number 13 on the UK Official Dance Singles Chart. It placed Roni Size within the same 1996 label period that preceded Reprazent’s wider crossover success. “Brut Force” remains part of Roni Size’s core Full Cycle catalogue and is still traded through the original 12-inch pressing and later digital listings. Its continued presence in collector catalogues preserves it as a pre-“New Forms” Roni Size release.
