Lost Weekend

“Lost Weekend” was released in 2008 by The Qemists featuring Mike Patton on Ninja Tune. The single credits The Qemists and Mike Patton as writers, with production by The Qemists and mastering by John Davis. The single introduced the Mike Patton collaboration ahead of The Qemists’ debut album “Join the Q.” It reached number 30 on the UK Official Independent Singles Chart and placed the Brighton group within Ninja Tune’s late-2000s crossover release schedule. “Lost Weekend” remains one of The Qemists’ best-known early singles and a key vocal collaboration from the “Join the Q” era. Its later use in racing and action-game soundtracks extended the track beyond its original Ninja Tune release.
