Status Quo

Issued on Kapitol Sity Records in 1983 and picked up by 4th and Broadway in the United Kingdom in 1985, Status Quo became part of the brief Island Records push for Washington DC dance records in British clubs. It reached the Official Singles Chart in October 1985 and peaked at number 85. The record remained a specialist favorite and was later featured in the film Good To Go and on Z Records Go Go Get Down compiled by Joey Negro. Joey Negro also listed it among his ten essential Washington DC records in 2012.
