Ghost of Love

Ghost of Love

Timeless Legend · 1976
Recording

Recorded at Kingsmill Recording Studio for Timeless Legend's only album Synchronized. Ghost Of Love was written by Jackie Hogg and Carl E. Fagain, with the Columbus, Ohio group working with Fagain as producer and arranger and Mark Spangler as engineer. Released by Pendulum Records in 1976, Ghost Of Love appeared on an album that later became one of the most sought-after rare groove and modern soul records. The track showed the group's polished harmony sound in a slower, dramatic setting alongside the album's dance-floor material. Ghost Of Love remains a collector-recognized Timeless Legend cut from the rare Synchronized album. Its later sampling and reissue presence helped keep the group's small catalogue active among soul collectors and hip-hop listeners.
