So Serious

“So Serious” was released by Illyus & Barrientos on 12 January 2018 through Toolroom. The record was produced by the Scottish duo after signing to the label, with writing credits including Ivan Hall Barrientos and Monte Moir. The single opened Illyus & Barrientos’s 2018 run on Toolroom and was promoted by the label as a club record already causing damage in DJ sets. It helped establish the duo within Toolroom’s main roster before further releases and remixes on the label. “So Serious” remains documented through Toolroom, Beatport, Discogs, Spotify and YouTube listings. It stands as one of the duo’s key early Toolroom singles alongside later label tracks such as “Shout,” “M.E.A.” and “Body Movement.”
