Sitting Here

Recorded in 1973 as part of T. Rex's standalone single work between Tanx and Zinc Alloy and the Hidden Riders of Tomorrow. Marc Bolan wrote the song, and Tony Visconti produced the recording. Sitting Here was issued as the B-side to Truck On (Tyke) in November 1973, during the period when T. Rex's run of major UK hits was beginning to slow. The single reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart and kept the band in the Top 20. The track remained a non-album B-side from the late glam-era T. Rex catalogue. It later reappeared as bonus material on reissues connected to Zinc Alloy and the Hidden Riders of Tomorrow.
