Produced as a first-time collaboration between Doorly (Martin Doorly) and Hauswerks for the Wrong Turn EP, their debut release on Jamie Jones's Hot Creations imprint, released on digital and twelve-inch vinyl. Jamie Jones debuted the track by opening his Ultra Music Festival set with it approximately four months before its September 2015 release, sparking widespread "Track ID?" demand across social media and SoundCloud. EARMILK described the breakdown as "truly monstrous," with a thick bass line erupting into what Hot Creations called a "full blown Balearic carnival." The release cemented a productive creative partnership between Doorly and Hauswerks, arriving during a period when Doorly was simultaneously collaborating with Shadow Child, Cajmere, Idris Elba, DJ Pierre, and Todd Terry across labels including Dirtybird, Moon Harbour, and Cajual.
