Drum Machine

Produced by London-based Alex Drury (Alex Metric) at his South London studio, featuring The New Sins, and released as part of the Ammunition Pt. 4 EP on Skrillex's OWSLA label in partnership with Atlantic's Big Beat imprint. The track continued the Ammunition series that had been a cornerstone of Metric's output on OWSLA since 2012, arriving alongside a collaboration with The Knocks on the same EP and maintaining Metric's reputation for bridging indie-influenced songwriting with club-ready production. A Cut Snake remix followed in February 2016, extending the release's dancefloor reach. The Ammunition series positioned Metric as one of OWSLA's most versatile artists, and his production profile continued to rise dramatically when he co-produced "Electricity" for Silk City (Diplo and Mark Ronson) featuring Dua Lipa, which peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart and won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2019.
