Live At D.S.Y.C

Recorded live at Dick Sheppard School in Tulse Hill, London, on 28 January 1983. Saxon supplied the backing for performances by Papa Levi and Peter King on the original various-artists LP. The release documented London’s competing sound systems and their microphone performers, bringing a local live session to record buyers. The parent album topped Dub Vendor’s specialist album chart in 1983. The recording preserves an early example of Papa Levi and Peter King performing with Saxon, documenting the collective’s live repertoire in 1983.
