Árbol sin hojas

Recorded at Estudios Panda in Buenos Aires for the 2010 album Viví en Do, Árbol sin hojas features Mariano Castro, performing as Dread Mar I, on lead vocals, alongside Adrián Romero on keyboards, Alejandro Ramos on guitar, Fabián Pigu Loredo on bass, Walter Aguirre on drums, Lucas Colamussi on trumpet and Martín Gariglio on saxophone. Emil Cura handled recording, mixing and mastering, while Castro wrote the composition. Released in 2010 on Viví en Do, Árbol sin hojas presents the end of a relationship through the image of a tree stripped of its leaves, expressing emotional recovery and acceptance. Its melodic arrangement and direct Spanish-language lyrics reflect Dread Mar I's established approach to songwriting within Argentina's contemporary reggae scene. Árbol sin hojas has remained part of Dread Mar I's repertoire and appeared on the 2016 concert album 10 Años (En Vivo). Its continued presence on digital music services and in live performances has sustained its popularity among Spanish-speaking audiences.
