Link to the Past

“Link to the Past” was released in 2010 as Loadstar’s “Link To The Past / Rapidas” single on RAM Records. The release credits Gavin Harris and Nick Hill as writers and producers, with Beau Thomas credited for engineering and mastering. The single introduced Xample & Lomax’s Loadstar alias on RAM Records and reached number 42 on the UK Official Physical Singles Chart. It marked the duo’s shift from their earlier name into the Loadstar identity used for their subsequent RAM catalogue. “Link to the Past” remains the first major Loadstar single and a defining entry point into the duo’s 2010s RAM Records period. Its continued digital availability and retrospective catalogue listings preserve it as the origin release for the Loadstar name.
