The album also featured James Gadson, Jerry Hey, Michael Boddicker, Paul Jackson Jr., and Paulinho Da Costa. The track appeared on Williams’s only released album and was issued by Arista in 1979. It later became a prized rare-groove title and was singled out by reissue notes as a standout cut. The song remained in circulation through specialist reissues, DJ culture, and later cover versions. It also drew renewed attention through sampling, helping secure its reputation as a rare-groove favorite.
