Everything You Never Had

Produced by Ben Westbeech under his Breach alias, the track features vocals from Brighton-based singer Andreya Triana and samples Lyn Collins's "Think (About It)." Westbeech had completed the track before his preceding single "Jack" was signed to Atlantic, and Annie Mac's Radio 1 play alone was sufficient for the label to sign it. Released in November 2013 as the follow-up to his breakthrough single "Jack," the track entered the UK Singles Chart at number nine, matching its predecessor and confirming Breach as a leading figure in the UK's bass-heavy house crossover into the mainstream. The single arrived at the crest of a wave that saw underground UK house producers like Disclosure and Duke Dumont achieving sustained chart success. The track remains a defining example of the 2013 UK house revival's ability to blend classic sampling techniques with contemporary club production and achieve significant pop chart penetration without compromising its dancefloor credentials.
