Footsteps

The track was recorded for Hidden Orchestra debut album Night Walks, led by composer and producer Joe Acheson. The recording features the group layered double drum kit, strings, bass, piano and electronics approach developed around the Edinburgh based project. Released on Night Walks in 2010, it helped introduce Hidden Orchestra through Tru Thoughts during the label early 2010s instrumental and electronic jazz crossover period. The track became one of the album representative pieces and established the project cinematic ensemble sound. It remains one of Hidden Orchestra best known early tracks and a key recording from Night Walks. The piece continues to represent Joe Acheson sample detailed, orchestral and rhythm led production style.
