Look Right Through (MK Remix)

Morgan Geist recorded the track in Queens, New York, and brought in Damon C. Scott after hearing him sing in the New York subway. The MK remix reworked the 2010 Storm Queen original for the 2013 UK reissue. The remix turned an underground house record into a mainstream crossover hit and reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart. It was released by Defected and Ministry of Sound after already building a strong club reputation. The track remains the signature Storm Queen record and one of MK’s defining remixes. It is still cited as a landmark house crossover and a defining Defected release.
