This Is Ska (Humphries Rydem Wiv Acid Mix)

Longsy D · 1989

Recording

Tony Humphries remixed Longsy D’s production for the May 1989 US release on Warlock Records. Mike Rogers engineered the remix, with additional keyboards and overdubs credited to Wang. The remix brought Humphries’ club perspective to a record already enjoying British success. The original UK single reached number 56 and spent ten weeks on the Official Singles Chart; those figures cover the single rather than this specific remix. The remix was subsequently included on House You in 2005, bringing the 1989 recording into Longsy D’s digital catalogue.
