Recording

Kenny Lattimore recorded Days Like This for his second album From The Soul Of Man, with Vidal Davis producing alongside Lattimore. The single credits Kenny Lattimore and Kipper Jones on backing vocals, Tim Motzer on guitar, Vidal Davis as engineer, and Tony Maserati as mixer. Released in 1998 on Columbia, the song became the lead single from From The Soul Of Man. It reached number 84 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, number four on Adult R&B Songs, and number 26 on Dance Club Songs after Masters At Work remixes. The track remains one of Lattimore's signature singles and later titled his 2004 best-of collection. Its Masters At Work mixes gave the R&B recording a lasting second life in soulful house and club playlists.
