Disclosure · 2016Written and arranged by brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence in a Los Angeles hotel room while on tour, then mixed and mastered at their home studio, the track was the only song on the Moog for Love EP where both members of Disclosure collaborated together. Howard Lawrence performed the vocals, which were pitch-shifted down and filtered with EQ effects over a harsh drum loop. Premiered during Disclosure's headline set at the UK Wildlife Festival on 11 June 2016 to what NME described as an ecstatic reception, the track became Annie Mac's Hottest Record In The World on BBC Radio 1 the following week. NME praised the EP as a return to the club, where Disclosure belonged, drawing favourable comparisons to the duo's debut album Settle after the more pop-oriented Caracal. The track accumulated over forty million Spotify streams on the radio edit alone and was included on Defected's Most Rated 2017 compilation and Beatport's Best Of 2016: House list, reasserting Disclosure's dancefloor credentials between their second and third albums.
