Boogie 2Nite

Recorded at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles during the Southern Hummingbird sessions. The single credits Tweet on vocals and songwriting, with production by John "Jubu" Smith and Nisan Stewart. Released on October 28, 2002 as the third and final single from Southern Hummingbird, it extended the album’s run of singles beyond "Oops (Oh My)" and "Call Me." It was also included on the soundtrack to The Transporter, which broadened its profile beyond the album cycle. The track remained active in club culture through Seamus Haji’s remix and was later covered by Booty Luv, whose version became a UK Top 2 hit. Tweet’s original also re-entered the UK chart at number 167 after that cover drew renewed attention to the song.
