Nivea recorded the single for her self-titled debut album and released it in the United States on June 3, 2002. It features Brian and Brandon Casey of Jagged Edge and was produced by Bryan-Michael Cox. The track became Nivea’s breakout hit, reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and helping establish her debut album as a major R&B release. It also earned a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at the 45th Grammy Awards in 2003.
