Recording

Depeche Mode recorded "Just Can't Get Enough" at Blackwing Studios in London in 1981. The session was produced by Depeche Mode and Daniel Miller, with engineering by Eric Radcliffe and John Fryer. Released as the band's third single, the track reached the UK top 10 and became their first major breakthrough hit. It established the bright, melodic synth-pop sound of the Speak & Spell era. The song became one of Depeche Mode's signature recordings and remained one of their most recognizable live staples. Its popularity also carried into later covers, remixes, and broad television and film use.
