Nothing Stays the Same (Original 1997 Lost In The Groove Mix)

Recorded at Rooftop Recording in 1997 and associated with the Equal Records era of the original release. The original credits list Victor Simonelli, Mike Dunn, Louis Radio, and Maurizio Clemente as writers and producers, with Victor Simonelli mixing, Marcello Cotroneo programming, and Mauro Laficara and Simon Garofoli engineering. The track captured a 1997 underground house collaboration between Chicago and Italian scene figures and became a durable club record rather than a mainstream single. It later resurfaced through Systematic’s Lost Treasures campaign, where the original Lost In The Groove mix was singled out for renewed play. The track has remained a DJ staple in reissues, mixes, and compilation appearances, including Systematic’s 2013 revival and later classic-house sets. Its long afterlife reflects its status as a respected deep-house collaboration associated with Mike Dunn, Victor Simonelli, and Luis Radio.
