Don't Joke with a Hungry Man (feat. Spanky Wilson)

Will Holland produced and arranged the recording for his third Quantic album, Mishaps Happening, with Spanky Wilson on lead vocals. It was one of two collaborations recorded after Holland tracked down Wilson in Los Angeles. The track connected Holland's contemporary production with a singer whose earlier recordings had become favourites among DJs and collectors. Contemporary reviews highlighted Wilson's commanding contribution to the album. The collaboration led to Wilson and the Quantic Soul Orchestra making the full-length album I'm Thankful in 2006. That project extended their partnership and introduced Wilson's voice to another generation.
