Black Widow

Hard Evidence · 2011
Recording

“Black Widow” is documented in its Taxman dub remix form as “Black Widow (Taxman’s Dub Remix)” by Hard Evidence vs. Wideboys & Majestic. It appeared on the 2011 Ministry of Sound compilation “Addicted To Bass 2011,” mixed by The Wideboys. The track circulated through Ministry of Sound’s bass-music compilation market rather than through a standalone chart single. Its placement on “Addicted To Bass 2011” put it alongside contemporary drum-and-bass, dubstep, grime and bassline tracks. “Black Widow” remains documented through the “Addicted To Bass 2011” track listing and later streaming listings for the Taxman remix. It is primarily preserved as a compilation-era Hard Evidence, Wideboys and Majestic collaboration.
