In Search of Atlantis

Recorded by John Keating as a long-form instrumental built around synthesizer, rhythm-section, and orchestral textures. The track later surfaced as the opening cut on Psychemagik Presents: Magik Sunset, Pt. 2, a compilation of rare and small-run cosmic, psychedelic, and downtempo material. Released by Leng Records in 2015, In Search of Atlantis became one of the standout archive discoveries on Magik Sunset, Pt. 2. Its nine-minute structure and expansive arrangement positioned Keating's work alongside European soundtrack, library, and cosmic-disco obscurities. The track remains one of Keating's most widely circulated cult recordings outside his better-known arranging and soundtrack work. Its placement on the Psychemagik compilation brought it to a new audience of Balearic, library-music, and psychedelic-disco collectors.
