Love Through Her

Recorded during Abel Tesfaye’s early work with the Toronto production and songwriting team the Noise. The track was written and produced by the Noise and released through Tesfaye’s Bandcamp page. Released before House of Balloons, it documents Tesfaye’s more conventional pre-Weeknd songwriting period. The recording later circulated with other early sessions under the unofficial title The Noise EP. The track remains an archival document of Tesfaye’s development before his breakthrough as the Weeknd. Its later circulation gave listeners a view of the polished pop material that preceded his darker mixtape work.
