Gravitational Arch of 10

Vapourspace released Gravitational Arch of 10 as a 1993 12-inch on Plus 8 Records. The record was written and produced by Mark Gage, with the original version backed by Paradox of Time Dilation and The Cold Air. The single became Vapourspace's defining release and one of Plus 8's best-known early 1990s records. Its long-form, spiralling arrangement carried Mark Gage's sound from the North American techno underground into wider European club circulation. Gravitational Arch of 10 remained in circulation through 1993 major-label editions, the 1994 Themes from Vapourspace album, and later reissues. It is still recognised as Vapourspace's signature track and a durable example of early 1990s trance-leaning techno.
